And finally, before leaving the French corner of the Fair:
The ‘two horses’ automobile.
Cute, much loved, versatile, annoying (velocity), accessible to everyone.
In fact a Citroën 2CV was my husbands first car back in the seventy’s.
This one was for hire.
Experiencing a drive in one of these cars is unforgettable.
I remember sitting at the back seat of one as a teenager.
Driving trough bends was like sitting in a rollercoaster because the car would incline much more then the road bend.
Here in Holland they are called ‘Lelijke Eendje’, ugly duckling, or just ‘Eend’ (duck).
